Clinical Assessment Entails:

Assessment for Sinusitis.ent
ENT Examination
Nasal assessment: Nasal vestibule, nasal conchae, nasal septum.
Sinus examination: Ethmoid sinuses, frontal sinus, maxillary sinus.
Examination for nasal polyps, postnasal discharge.
The diagnosis of rhinosinusitis or sinusitis is based on the patient’s history and endoscopy of the nose, using a special endoscope and camera. Plain x-ray of the facial sinuses should be avoided because of the radiation administered combined with its low diagnostic reliability.
