Who do balance disorders concern?

EYiasis Department of Vertigo and Balance Disorders addresses all patients, regardless of age, who suffer from dizziness, vertigo and unsteadiness.

It can affect all age groups from young children to the elderly. Thus, the aim of EYiasis center is to identify, with a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of each patient, in order to locate the underlying disease and ultimately propose the most appropriate therapeutic intervention.

Treating Dizziness and Vertigo

Treatment is always individualized, due to the specificity of patients who complain of dizziness, and balance disorders in general.

Disequilibrium is caused by a disturbance in the harmonious functioning of the balance system of our body. Rehabilitation exercises are an important part of treatment in various vertigo disorders.

A patient should not do repositioning therapeutic exercise on their own as it may result in a Canalith jam. This condition refers to an otolithic clump blocked inside a semicircular canal, generally provoked by canalith repositioning procedure. This will result in worsening of symptoms.
